Memphis Hosts Title National Championships, June 14-16
The Fight Connection & Title Boxing, Inc, present the 2012 Title National Championships, June 14,15,16, 1232 East Shelby Drive, Memphis, TN. Amateur boxers ages 8-34 will compete for the title of National Champion. Teams are registered from as far away as the Caiman Islands and includes the US Marine’s Boxing Team. There will be 2 rings of live boxing beginning at 7 pm on the 14th and 15th with the finals on Saturday the 16th beginning at noon.
The Mid South Fairground’s Pipkin Building was the site of the first Title National Championships seven years ago. It was started by John Bryant in order to give amateur boxers a chance to compete for a national title without having to qualify in their respected regions. The Title National Championships continues to grow and in previous years has hosted Canada’s National Team and Irelands National Team.
Over 800 boxers are expected to attend this year and over 200 will be crowned “national champion” and receive a custom championship belt from Title Boxing, Inc. The tournament is sanctioned by the USA Boxing by permit of the Tennessee Athletic Commission.
