V3FIGHTS: September 22!
TRUNDLE VS OSTROWSKI
The heavyweight championship is always the most prestigious title when it comes to combat sports. On September 22 at Minglewood Hall, V3Fights will host the biggest heavyweight fight that this area has ever seen. Champion Jeremiah Trundle (7-1) puts his belt on the line against top contender Jason Ostrowski (6- 0). This will be Trundle’s biggest test to date and his opponent is basically a mirror image of the champion.
Both fighters are former college football players that come from a wrestling background and have knockout power in both hands.
Trundle was a state champion wrestler for Millington High School and we got to see his ground game for the first time in his last fight in the V3 cage against Alex Hilliard.
Ostrowski was 36-5 his senior year in high school where most of his wins came by pin. He also spent many hours on the mat with the varsity wrestling team at Truman State University while he was playing college
football.
What makes these fighters so entertaining to watch is the fact that they can both end the fight with one punch. Trundle’s standup resembles more of a boxing style while Ostrowski’s is more Muay Thai. According to V3Fights’ president Nick Harmeier, “This is our most stacked card to date and the perfect way to end the night is with this heavyweight title fight. Ostrowski has finished every last one of his opponents, and we all know what Trundle is capable of doing. This is the biggest heavyweight fight to ever hit this area!”
This is a fight that will be talked about for years to come, so don’t miss out.
We caught up with both fighters and got their thoughts on this upcoming fight:

“I’m excited to fight a highly recognized fighter. I always welcome a good fight. I’m excited to put on a show.”
Jeremiah Trundle (Memphis Judo and Jiu-Jitsu)
“This is gonna be a good fight. He’s undefeated and it matches up to be an epic fight. We’re similar in style. We both come from a wrestling background. Sounds like we are a chapter from the same book. It’s just going to come down to whoever the better man is that night.”
