On June 16 at MInglewood Hall, the much anticipated wait will finally come to an end! That’s right, Landon Roades makes his V3Fights’ debut. Roades fights in the bantamweight division and has a current record of 34-5. He is known for his toughness and brutal ground and pound. Standing in Roades’ way is the “Baby Dragon,” Sammy Lua. Lua comes into this fight with a 16-2 record and is a former V3 bantamweight and lightweight champion as well as the 2011 “Breakthrough Fighter of the Year.”
Roades and Lua will be battling it out for the vacant bantamweight title (current champion Ryan Collins has declared that he is turning pro). Harmeier states, “I can’t wait for this fight. Styles make fights and I see this fight going to the ground. Roades has awesome ground and pound and we have all seen Lua’s jiu-jitsu. These two fighters are easily the top two fighters in the bantamweight division. I’ve been waiting to see this fight for a long time. This can easily be a main event on any other card.”
When asked about this fight, here is what these two fighters had to say:

Sammy Lua…”I’m really looking forward to fighting for V3 again. I have been fighting in Louisiana and Texas and I’m Read more »
